The decode: the beep, the partial recognition, and the warranty trap

Why a three-month-old drive fails: worth saying plainly, because people assume new means safe. Drive failure rates follow a well-known shape: a raised rate in the first months, a long low plateau through the middle years, and a rise again at the end of life.
